Vice President, Director of Lending (Lancaster or Philadelphia)

Community First Fund is currently hiring a Vice President, Director of Lending Operations to work out of either our Philadelphia or Lancaster offices. The Director of Lending Operations is responsible for the oversight and implementation of specific products and outcomes and manage the business requirements of the lending department for the Central and Northeast Pennsylvania markets. They will support designated staff in conducting business development/prospecting calls, review and evaluate credit memos for presentation to loan committee, assist staff in negotiating loan transactions, support lenders in settlement of loan transactions, and ensure that lending staff follow Community First Fund lending policy and procedures in all aspects of their work. Development Director (Lancaster)

Community First Fund is currently hiring a Development Director to work out of our Lancaster office. The Development Director is charged with implementing all aspects of the organization’s fundraising, grant writing and investor development activities in order to meet goals set forth in Community First Fund’s Strategic Plan and Annual Capitalization Plan. Community Microlender (Philadelphia)

Community First Fund is currently hiring a Community Microlender to work out of our Philadelphia office. The Community Microlender will utilize the affinity group lending model to provide small dollar, character-based loans to entrepreneurs and consumers in a group setting. They will increase the customer base, manage access to technical assistance and training, and originate, underwrite, and close microloans. Click here for the full details of this position.

Credit Review Manager (Lancaster)

Community First Fund is currently hiring a Credit Review Manager to work out of our Lancaster office. The Credit Review Manager will perform annual reviews of loans in the portfolio, monitor all new commercial loans and critique the underwriting and closing processes ensuring that loans are closed and documented as they have been approved by Loan Committees and individuals with lending authority. They will also have technical and analytical responsibilities in analyzing financial, industry and market information and monitoring of covenant compliance. Controller (Lancaster)

Community First Fund is currently hiring a Controller to work out of our Lancaster office. The Controller is responsible for auditing, budgeting, reporting, cash management, loan accounting, preparation of monthly financial statements and making month-end financial journal entries. They ensure that all financial records are accurate and complete and help to supervise the Accounting team. This position oversees other financial functions for the organization, including payroll, accounts payable, and loan payment billing and disbursements. Senior Technical Assistance Associate (Philadelphia)

Community First Fund is currently hiring a Senior Technical Assistance Associate to work out of our Philadelphia office. The Senior Technical Assistance Associate works closely with the Affinity Group Lenders to ensure that clients are increasing their financial capacity through regular follow-up meetings, educational workshops, individual and group support. They connect clients with appropriate resources and assist in the determination of eligibility for a variety of public programs. Documentation & Closing Specialist (Lancaster)

Community First Fund is currently hiring a Documentation & Closing Specialist to work out of our Lancaster office. The Documentation and Closing Specialist has the primary responsibility for the preparation and collection of the required documents to close successfully the commercial loans originated by the lending department. Additionally, they will prepare and release collateral documents after loans are paid off; and provide supervision and training to all closing associates in the department. Staff Accountant (Lancaster)

Community First Fund is currently hiring a Staff Accountant to work out of our Lancaster office. The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting the department with monitoring and managing the loan portfolio and with managing and processing cash receipts and accounts payable. Administrative Associate (Philadelphia)

Community First Fund is currently hiring an Administrative Associate to work out of our Philadelphia office. The Administrative Assistant is the primary administrative assistant for the organization. Duties also include answering the main phone lines, ensuring guest and clients visiting the office are provided quality customer service, sorting and distributing mail from the post office, coordinating payments for bank deposits and making daily deposits at banks. They support the Director of the Executive Office with coordination of calendar and scheduling, preparing and coordinating materials for internal and external meetings, and processing intake data for client visits.
